Stevan Valencia

"Tierra del Sur" collection is born from the inspiration of scenes immortalized in Creole illustrations and paintings by artists such as Agostino Brunias, Saturnino Herrán and Juan León Palliére, where the foundations of an autochthonous aesthetic began to express their strength... Scenes typical of the daily life of a colonial Latin America adorned by the joy of its characters and the beauty of its landscapes naturally portray everything that represents us to this day and that it is impossible to separate from what we are.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Governed and completely inspired by art, aesthetics, history and the strength of our roots, Stevan Valencia was born in order to enhance the beauty of women with pieces developed by Latin hands under high quality standards, craft processes based on a sustainable and socially fair production, where each piece is manufactured under prior demand and in working conditions conditioned under the principle of comfort, respect and teamwork. Behind each piece there is a passionate and dedicated team led by young empiricists and mothers who are heads of households who ensure that each production process is developed with the value it has, resulting in garments that demonstrate the talent and capacity of Latin American design. Our textiles are mostly natural fabrics and recycled polyester fibers that extend the life of the raw material and reduce the pollution caused by the textile industry. All our prints are exclusive and developed by young artists and impregnated in textiles with eco-friendly processes that considerably reduce the use of water and energy by up to 40%.|Our "Tierra del Sur" collection is born from the inspiration of scenes immortalized in Creole illustrations and paintings by artists such as Agostino Brunias, Saturnino Herrán and Juan León Palliére, where the foundations of an autochthonous aesthetic began to express their strength...
